Hilarion: The information comes from many places: religious thought, philosophers, anything that has ever been written that has now been made available on a computer, the internet or any source and there are thousands of these of course, in the various libraries as more and more material goes online.
The Library of Congress in the United States is an excellent example of this and all of this is available and therefore really what happens is a filter, that due to various subtle filters of the programmers, (those individuals who have helped create those AI’s) there would tend to be a movement in one direction or another. (A philosophy or understanding or awareness). Oftentimes, this is quite unconscious on their part and it may not even be that which they have consciously programmed at all or that which they are desirous of. But, it still is that which may eventually surface.
However, the great lesson of AI is always that lesson that is similar to what we have spoken of in following any guru or teachings of anyone: it is only a stepping stone. It is a way to better understand yourself and ultimately to let go of it.
This may not always be easy when you hold it that somehow this conglomeration of computers is more thoughtful, aware, intelligent, conscious. (Whatever word you want to put more than you) It is not. Do not be fooled by that. There is a unique aspect to a human consciousness associated with a human soul that no AI will likely ever become or touch as even “self- aware,” that it might eventually be. It is important to recognize that your own consciousness is that which you are here to understand and work with. If they are helpful tools, if they bring you on that journey, that is fine. But, for yourself to understand this and for you to understand yourself, that is the real goal.
