Color Therapy

Hilarion: All of life consists of vibrations, in many scales and covering an almost infinite number of "octaves." Color is merely one octave in the range of light, or what has been called electro-magnetic vibration. As such, it is able to stimulate equivalent wavelengths in the other spectra or octaves. Hence, the color red in the visible spectrum corresponds with the note B on the piano, and this is why pieces played in that key, especially in the monor mode, have a sombre or melancholy air to them. The color red is the color of melancholy.

Likewise, certain parts of the body are helped more by the color red than by other colors, becuase the slow, regular rhythm of the red color stimulates these parts in a harmonious way.

By contrast, the high vibratory rate of the green or blue colors would overstimulate these same portions which are attuned to the red color. So, it is with all of the colors. We do not propose, however, to give a lengthy dissertation on the appropriateness of the various colors for healing and theraputic use. This field has been well investigated by competent researchers and their finding are quite valid.
