Hilarion Comments On Brexit & Karmic Debt of Colonization

Hilarion: A question has been posed about the great changes occurring in Europe as a result of the United Kingdom pulling out of the European Union, that which has been termed, “Brexit,” for the exit of Britain. But, it is to note that this is just a symbol, asking, “what do you want to be part of?” 

Many individuals who were very strongly in favor of breaking away from the European Union are those who will over the next few years have powerful shifts in consciousness about this. It has a lot to do with growing up. 

Some might say that you are willing now to believe in the sense that your healthcare workers believe in and that all people are valuable. This is very difficult for a lot of people. They would say, “let those who have brought upon themselves this fate of poverty or disease or homelessness that they deserve it and they should have it for themselves.” Nothing could be further from the truth but that is how they might see it. Yet, they would feel that they should support their healthcare workers. This is actually a conflict because the healthcare workers will not discriminate. They will not say, “Oh this person because they are homeless or they cannot afford it should not be given medical care. It is true that healthcare workers are actually “disease care workers,” that is what is happening right now. They are not trying to promote health, they are trying to help those who have disease. But, this idea that they would support everyone is a deep message to those who would say that in any way those who are struggling deserve their fate.

That is one of the underlying powerful messages in common in the consciousness of many in England who voted for Britain to exit and this is an energy that has been changing a lot as a result of coronavirus. But, it comes down to this one simple question, though you might not support those or wish to help those who are in trouble in the world, be it through unemployment, be it through no fault of their own or whatever. Do you see that the work that the healthcare workers are doing is good? This is an obvious conflict and is shifting in consciousness as people begin to recognize this because of course this is one of the primary complaints made by those in Great Britain. In various ways they were supporting those in the European Union taking their money, their time, their energy when it could be put to better use in their homeland. 

We would ask you if possible to answer this question in a different way. To step back, to look at this planet from the point of view of the extraterrestrials, “you mean, they are deliberately allowing some of their own to suffer and die when they know they could be helped? They're putting them in positions in which they are exposed to the elements and be made to starve? It just doesn't make sense.”

So, of course then you see this way in which, “we are all together,” is a powerful message is promoted not just by the utilization of the virus but by this shift in consciousness and of course so many are experiencing this for themselves. That is why USA is having particular shift around this when food banks are overwhelmed, with the need for the unemployed to be paid, for the changes that are happening in many ways to the society. 

So, what may result from Brexit is a new consciousness that is able to transcend any of these limits. This is not to say that it would be rescinded though it certainly could happen in a few years. That is, Britain could rejoin the European Union but rather it is a way in which these ways in which people have created barriers, boundaries etc. they begin to see this as one planet, one larger view, one larger aspect. That is the spiritual significance associated with this. 

Of course, at the surface level, it is all about looking inwards, strengthening the nature of what it is to be a Brit, what it means to come from this place and sometimes this means doing things that need to be shifted or changed as Britain has a tremendous karmic debt to pay to the world for long periods of colonization and taking from other countries and so on. However, for a while at least it is going to be in this questioning mode, looking at these energies before they are decided upon.
