Now, there's a question about prayer which seems particularly applicable here. How should one pray or how could prayer work or how do these energies work best for anyone and all of this. What seems to happen, and you can view this in different ways; groups praying and you see where energies go, you, yourself see where your energy goes. When you pray there is an energy shift, a directional focus, a way in which energy that was otherwise often scattered becomes more cohesive, more available. The most important aspect as you examine and look at prayer and how it is to be done is intent. What are you trying to accomplish by this?
Oftentimes, the reason why this is so important you see, as you examine your intent you will be able to discover several useful things and these will be particularly looked at if you're not too clear on your intent by questions about love and letting go. Is there something loving in this prayer? Is there some aspect of it that can engage your heart, your feeling center? The intent of what you want your prayer to do? Is there something loving you can know and experience? At the same time is there anything in the way? Is there anything in your intent preventing you from manifesting it? Is there anything telling you there's something in the way or this is too difficult, or what if?
If these things show up as you begin to examine them and work with them you order not to spend too much time on that and come right back to your prayer, could you just let it go? As you contact those things, could you just let them go? This helps you develop more of your intent. As you become clearer and focused on this naturally what tends to arise from it is that which is the context for the intent, that which holds it at a higher vibrational level. So if your prayer is something about wanting, wanting peace in the world or wanting a Mercedes, whatever the wanting is, is there something you want more than that? Can often help you recognize the intent. What do you want even more than that? In working with that you often come to a very beautiful place that has nothing to do with your prayer.
It is a place instead of the pure energy that is in its highest and best form, wanting that which is the most beautiful, the most enlightened, the most loving for you, for your planet, for everyone, for your evolution or whatever. As you use the prayer as a leaping off point for self-examination, for understanding intent, for going into that which is the most beautiful, the most enhancing and so on, then and only then can you really appreciate our words about prayer. Which is, there is only one prayer and that is the prayer for clarity.
How can you know that the prayer that you are saying is the one that is best for the person, the country, the situation, the planet, the galaxy whatever it is that you are praying for? But, at the same time be that which grants to that group or person the opportunity for self-knowledge, for their own evolution, for their own enlightenment, for their own understanding which is just as important and in fact may be the underlying reason why a prayer seems to be needed in the first place. You are going to pray because someone has been hurt. Because something has happened to them that has been difficult but their knowledge, their learning from the experience, their ability to share it with others, their capacity to grow from it must not be that which you take away should your prayer be granted.
So, therefore not to impose the idea that a prayer for clarity is the only prayer before you pray. But, rather use your opportunity for the experience of prayer as an invitation to examine intent, to grow from it, to learn for yourself and to see of the highest and best and to see from that place the energy is liberated. So, that indeed the possibility of that awareness, that enlightenment, that understanding, that maximum clarity becomes available to all involved. Because after all, clarity in its most powerful form knows no limits. It might be yours as much as theirs. It is this business of the understanding of the Law of Reflection that keeps showing up and is particularly emphasized in the northern hemisphere in the time in which you have this business of the longest night and the shortest day. Because it is an inter-looking time. But, you’ll often find that as you examine it and work with that there are different ways to approach it and understand it
